Story at the start of the stage.
“By the way, Lawrence, you mentioned blueprints before,
for something that was supposed to attach to the Sweemurg’s
back. What became of them?
Our engineers figured it was a booster.”
“说起来，劳伦斯，你之前提过，斯维姆鲁格
背部原本要装一个部件，它的设计图
后来怎么样了？

「あら、そういえばあたしも聞いたことなかったわ。どうなの?」
“Yes, if memory serves, it was a flight booster
capable of operating on its own.”

「はい、確かわたくしの記憶では、単体で活動可能な
飛行ブースターであったと記憶しております」
“So it could function like a fighter plane, then.”

“Indeed. The old master, your grandfather, took great interest in such mechanisms.
However, all that was entrusted to me were the Sweemurg’s design documents,
so I do not know what became of it.”

「おっいたいた。みんな、なんかギャリソンさんが
来てくれっていってるぜ」

installed in the mountains to the south.”

“Indeed. However, there is something rather strange about it.”

“Such as?”

“Yes. Thanks to Mr. Lawrence’s cooperation,
my information network ought to be able to track Romefeller and the Specials
to some degree.
Yet according to it, there are currently no regular Specials units
operating in this region.”

She is Lady Manami’s cousin.
I see, so the blueprints for the Elbulls were in the Ridgemond family’s
hands all along.”

put in a word for you.”

「お戻りなさい、マナミさん今ならばまだ、わたくしが
とりなして差し上げるわ」
“Wait, Aisha! You’re wrong.
Romefeller is...”
“等等，艾夏！你错了。

「待ってアイシャ!あなたは間違っているわ
ロームフェラは……」
“Silence! If you say you have no intention of returning,
then for the honor of the Ridgemond family, I will strike you down!”

来る以上は、こちらも手段を選ぶわけにはいかないな」

With that type of girl, once she’s backed into a corner,
there’s no telling what she’ll do.”

“Well, sir, a telegram has arrived from General Igor of the Liberation Front of the Earth.
He has sent a staff member carrying a personal letter
our way.”

往我们这边来了。”

こちらに向かわせたとの事です」
“General Igor? I see... so he doesn’t know about Alan yet.
But to make contact with us at a time like this...
So, when will he arrive here?”
“伊格尔将军？对了，他还不知道阿兰的事。
不过，偏偏在这个时候来接触我们……
那么，他大概什么时候到？”
「イゴール将軍が? そうか、アランのことは知らないのだったな
しかし、この時期に僕たちに接触してくるとは……
で、いつごろここへ着くと?」
“It will probably take a few days, sir.”
“恐怕还需要几天时间。”
「おそらく数日は、かかるものと思われますが」
“Nothing for it, then. Let’s stay here a while longer.”
“没办法。那就在这里再待一阵子吧。”
「しかたないな。ではもうしばらくここにとどまるとしようか」
Portraits use the HD art pack. Line numbers match the game’s dialogue files, and each line has a direct link. The original script combines the protagonists’ routes within each stage, so passages are labelled by route. Where the stage or passage identifies the protagonist, that protagonist and partner are shown. Elsewhere, ⟨Hero⟩ and ⟨Partner⟩ are used; Super and Real stages also list the two possible protagonists.
